When she first arrived, she was a bit shy and unsure of her new surroundings, but with a little time and lots of love, she’s blossomed into an amazing dog. Betty is friendly to everyone she meets, whether they’re people, dogs, or other animals, and she always greets new friends with her gentle, polite nature. Playful yet easy-going, she knows how to enjoy a good romp around the yard but also loves to relax and soak up snuggles. COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Betty has the potential to get along with other dogs and cats.

MEDICAL NEEDS: Betty has tested positive for Heartworm Disease and is currently looking for a foster/foster to adopt home while she goes through her treatment. Heartworm disease is not contagious to other animals or people. Betty will need to be on medication that MARL will provide, and brought to MARL for check ups until she has been cleared.
