BACKGROUND: Meet Camilla, a resilient Cane Corso mix with the sweetest soul and a heart full of love. Camilla was found as a stray in heartbreaking condition: extremely emaciated, terrified, and unable to use her front leg. Since coming to MARL, she’s been placed in a loving foster home where she’s been gaining weight, building confidence, and showing us more of who she truly is every day. Now that she’s feeling safe, Camilla has blossomed into the most incredible girl. She is sweet beyond words—and somehow manages to get even sweeter as her confidence grows. She loves to play, is wonderfully goofy, and her silly antics are guaranteed to make you smile. Due to a serious prior injury from before she came to MARL, Camilla did need to have her front leg amputated. But don’t let that fool you—it doesn’t slow her down one bit! She’s getting around better than ever and is thriving as a happy, playful tripod pup. Camilla is ready for the loving home she’s always deserved—one where she can keep healing, keep growing, and keep being the amazing dog she was meant to be.

COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Camilla has the potential to get along with other dogs. Camilla would do best in a home without cats.

MEDICAL NEEDS: Camilla arrived at MARL with a serious leg injury that required amputation. She has since undergone surgery and has fully recovered. She does not require any medication at this time, but her condition should continue to be monitored through routine veterinary care.
