MARL ARRIVAL: Stray

BACKGROUND: Meet Gary! Gary came to us as a stray, and we truly can’t believe no one was looking for him—he is simply the best. This sweet senior boy loves everyone he meets and gets along wonderfully with dogs and cats alike. Gary may be a little older and has a few quirks, he’s deaf, has limited vision, and sometimes has a little tremor when he walks, but none of that slows him down. He still has a pep in his step and gets around just fine, enjoying life at his own pace. He absolutely loves going for walks, spending time outdoors, and most of all, cuddling up with his people. Gary is the kind of dog who just wants to be close and share quiet, loving moments. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion with a heart of gold, Gary is ready to be your very best friend.

COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Gary has the potential to get along with other dogs and cats.

MEDICAL NEEDS: Gary is currently on an anti-inflammatory pain medication (Galliprant) to help keep him comfortable and support his joints. He is deaf and has limited vision, but he navigates his environment well and adjusts easily once he’s familiar with his surroundings. Our veterinarian has evaluated Gary and determined that his mobility is good. While he does have a mild tremor when walking, no additional intervention is needed at this time.

ADOPTION FEE: $250
