BACKGROUND: Gracie may look a little serious at first thanks to her expressive coloring and “eyebrows,” but don’t be fooled—this shepherd mix is truly the sweetest girl. Once you’re near her, she just wants to melt right into you for love and affection. Gracie has a lean, graceful build and enjoys playtime, spending time outside, and soaking up every moment she can with her people. She’s gentle, loving, and ready to show her future family that her tough look hides the softest heart.
COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Gracie has the potential to get along with other dogs. Gracie would do best in a home without cats.
MEDICAL NEEDS: Gracie has tested positive for heartworm and is currently receiving treatment. Her treatment includes a course of oral antibiotics and a series of injections, all provided and covered by MARL. We’re hoping Gracie can enter a foster-to-adopt home during this time, with all treatments scheduled through our vet at MARL. Once her treatment is complete, we can finalize her adoption.
