MARL ARRIVAL: Humboldt was brought to MARL as a stray.

BACKGROUND: Humboldt, the gentle senior dog still has a lot of love to give. But don't let his age fool you; Humboldt is an explorer at heart. He may move a bit slower these days, but he still finds joy in ambling through the park, sniffing out new scents, and savoring every moment of his adventures. Humboldt's easy-going nature and unique look will make him a wonderful companion for the right person or family, could you be the lucky one? Apply today!

COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Humboldt has the potential to get along with other dogs. Humboldt would do best in a home without cats and with children over the age of 12.

MEDICAL NEEDS: tested positive for Heartworm Disease and is looking for a foster/foster to adopt home while he goes through his treatment. Heartworm Disease is not contagious to other animals or people. Humboldt will need to be kept on medication that MARL will provide and brought to MARL for health checkups once a month until he has been cleared. If you have questions regarding Humboldt or his treatment, please give our front desk a call at 248-335-9290.
