MARL ARRIVAL: Mocha was brought to MARL because her owner could no longer care for her.

BACKGROUND: Meet Mocha! This energetic girl will get you up and moving better than a cup of her namesake. A big fan of playing with toys, romping around with other dogs, and spending time with the people she cares about, Mocha loves to be up and at them. She is always sure to take time away from her busy days to give love to all the staff and volunteers, too. A great mix of active and affectionate, she has been waiting patiently for the right person or family to come along, could it be you?

COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Mocha has the potential to get along with other dogs. Mocha would do best in a home without cats.

MEDICAL NEEDS: Mocha has tested positive for Heartworm Disease and is looking for a foster/foster to adopt home while she goes through her treatment. Heartworm Disease is not contagious to other animals or people. Mocha will need to be kept on medication that MARL will provide and brought to MARL for health checkups once a month until she has been cleared.
