BACKGROUND: Daffodil is a beautiful husky mix who is truly blossoming more each day. She can be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a bit of time and you’ll discover just how sweet and affectionate she really is. Once she feels comfortable, Daffodil loves being close to her people, whether that’s enjoying gentle pets, curling up by your side, or simply sharing quiet moments together. She also enjoys leisurely walks and exploring the outdoors at her own pace, taking in all the sights and smells along the way. Daffodil has a calm, gentle spirit and is looking for a home that will give her the time and patience she needs to continue growing in confidence. If you’re looking for a soft, loving companion to share peaceful days and cozy evenings with, Daffodil may just be your perfect match

COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Daffodil has the potential to get along with other dogs. Daffodil would do best in a home without cats.

MEDICAL NEEDS: Daffodil has tested positive for heartworm and is currently receiving treatment. Her treatment includes a course of oral antibiotics and a series of injections, all provided and covered by MARL. We’re hoping Daffodil can enter a foster-to-adopt home during this time, with all treatments scheduled through our vet at MARL. Once her treatment is complete, we can finalize her adoption.
