BACKGROUND: Meet Inkay! This beautiful girl came to MARL at just four months old after being found living on the streets. She was terrified at first and scared to trust people, but with the help of a loving foster home and the comfort of her feline friends, she's slowly begun to come out of her shell. Inkay is still very skittish with people and tends to startle at quick movements and loud noises. She isn't fond of being touched or handled, but she loves playtime and will happily chase after a wand toy or pounce on a laser. Inkay needs a quiet home with a patient owner who understands that trust takes time to build. She would prefer to live with another cat, as she thrives in the presence of other cats and takes cues from them. She would love a kitty companion to comfort her and help build her confidence.
