BACKGROUND: Meet Clementine, the sweetest, most gentle soul you’ll ever meet. This senior pit bull may have some years under her belt, but her heart is as young as ever—especially when there are cuddles or treats involved! A true foodie, Clementine will happily do anything for a snack, but what she wants most is a loving home where she can relax and enjoy her golden years. Whether she’s snuggled up by your side or savoring her favorite treats, she’s happiest just being with her people. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and easygoing companion, Clementine is ready to be your best friend.

COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Clementine has the potential to get along with other dogs and cats.

MEDICAL NEEDS: Clementine has tested positive for heartworm disease, but don’t worry—it’s not contagious to people or other animals, and with treatment, she can go on to live a perfectly normal life. She is available through MARL’s Pawsitively Sure Trial Adoption Program, which allows her to begin treatment while enjoying the comfort of a home. MARL covers all medical costs until she is fully cleared, including oral medications and three injections administered over three months by our veterinarian.
