BACKGROUND: Dafny came to MARL after she was found as a stray. She tested positive for Heartworm Disease and is currently undergoing treatment with our team. Dafny is a very smart cookie - she came to us knowing all of her commands, including sit, lay, stay, and heel, and she can solve treat puzzles like nobody's business! To Dafny, age is just a number. This spry and active senior girl has plenty of energy and enthusiasm for life. Despite her impressive size, Dafny is a total snuggle bug who will happily curl up next to you for a nap (and she snores). Because she is an older dog with Heartworm Disease, her adoption interest has been less than some of our other canine residents, but she is enjoying herself at MARL while she waits patiently to sweep a lucky family off their feet.
