Denny
BACKGROUND: Denny’s life before MARL wasn’t easy. He was dropped off at a local shelter with several other Beagles who had been used as hunting dogs, living outdoors in harsh conditions with little human interaction. They were all transferred to MARL where they could receive some extra TLC from our team to prepare for adoption. Understandably, Denny arrived undersocialized and unsure of the world around him. At 5 years old, he’s starting over, learning what it means to be a dog for the first time. Each day, Denny gains a little more confidence, discovering the simple joys of life—sniffy walks, quiet moments with people who care, and, of course, plenty of tasty treats. He still has a long way to go, but we know in a loving home with a patient person, Denny will have just what he needs to thrive. Send Denny some love - Will you be his Valentine?
