MARL ARRIVAL: Lilo was brought to MARL as a stray.
BACKGROUND: Meet Lilo—a spirited, lovable pup who gives everything she’s got, 110% of the time! While she can be a little wary around men at first, once you’ve been properly introduced, she’s all in. Lilo is a big fan of sniffy walks, playtime with her dog friends, squeaky toys, and most of all—cuddles. She’s looking for a patient adopter who’s willing to let her open up at her own pace and see the incredible, affectionate dog our staff already know and love. With just a little time and understanding, Lilo is sure to become your new best friend.
COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Lilo has the potential to get along with other dogs. Lilo would do best in a home without cats and with children over the age of 15.
MEDICAL NEEDS: Lilo has tested positive for Heartworm Disease and is currently looking for a foster/foster to adopt home while she goes through her treatment. Heartworm disease is not contagious to other animals or people. Lilo will need to be on medication that MARL will provide, and brought to MARL for check ups until she has been cleared. If you have questions regarding Lilo or her treatment, please give our front desk a call at 248-335-9290.
