BACKGROUND: Meet Snickers, as sweet as his name suggests! This lovable pup is the perfect mix of fun, friendly, and outgoing, always ready to bring a smile to your face. Whether it’s playtime, a walk, or just lounging by your side, Snickers is happy as long as he’s with you. His easygoing nature makes him the perfect companion for any adventure—big or small. If you’re looking for a devoted best friend who’s always up for fun and snuggles, Snickers is ready to be your loyal sidekick!

COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Snickers has the potential to get along with other dogs. Snickers would do best in a home without cats.

MEDICAL NEEDS: Snickers has tested positive for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious to people or other animals, and once treated, dogs like Snickers can go on to live perfectly normal lives. Snickers is available through MARL’s Pawsitively Sure Trial Adoption Program, which allows him to begin his heartworm treatment while in the comfort of a home environment. MARL will cover all the costs of his medical care and treatment until he is fully cleared. Treatment involves oral medications and three injections administered over the course of three months, which he would receive at MARL from our veterinarian.
