BACKGROUND: Meet Susan, a sweet senior pup with a gentle soul and a heart full of love—once you earn it. This petite lady may take some time to warm up, but with patience, kindness, and a quiet space, she’ll slowly begin to show her true, endearing personality. Susan enjoys her outside time, exploring at her own pace, and is a big fan of napping in cozy dog beds where she feels safe and relaxed. She’s looking for a calm, understanding home where she can settle in on her own terms and be loved for the wonderful companion she is. If you believe in the magic of slow beginnings and soft landings, Susan is ready to find her place in your heart.

COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, Susan would do best as the only dog in the home and in a home without children. She does have the potential to get along with cats.
