Outreach-Apply for Assistance

MARL provides cat and dog food as well as supplies to qualifying low-income households in the city of Pontiac and in specific cases, low-cost medical care.

Please be aware that food for this program is generously donated and therefore, we cannot always guarantee that food is always available. Monthly food pick up is the first Tuesday and Friday of every month from noon to 3 p.m.

Program Requirements:
•All animals in the household must be spayed or neutered. Proof of spay/neuter is required for program approval.
•Applicants must provide proof of residency in the city of Pontiac.
• I.D. is required when food is picked up. Unless approved beforehand, pick-up must be done by the person whose name is on the account.
