The Michigan winter isn’t backing down and neither is the Michigan Animal Rescue League!
MARL had a historic year by placing over 800 dogs and cats (who were once homeless) in to safe and loving homes! We have no plans to slow down in 2018!
An increased number of dogs and cats are coming through our doors this winter. As we write this MARL is experiencing a 55% increase in surrendered to abandoned animals compared to the same time last year!
These animals depend entirely on MARL to ensure they are returned to good health and prepared to join their forever family. Just like our animals rely on us, MARL relies on you and your support to make sure we can continue this important work.
MARL is truly a different breed of shelter. We provide much-needed food, shelter, veterinary care and socialization. Some animals come to us needing a short-term home while they wait to find their forever family. While others come to us needing much more time and significant medical attention. We do not put a time limit on the stay and care of our dogs and cats.
