Adoptable Dog Wing
This area includes the four individualized dog neighborhoods where adoptable dogs will reside as they await their forever homes. This area includes a grooming area and food prep station. Sign installed in main lobby, entering the dog neighborhoods.
Adoptable Cat Wing
This wing is comprised of the four cat rooms in which adoptable cats will reside as they await adoption and includes the cat kitchen area. Sign installed in main lobby adjacent to adoptable cat rooms.
Medical Wing
This wing will house MARL’s entire medical program, including the medical center, surgical center, and exam rooms. Sign installed in dog neighborhood two, entering the medical wing.

Open-Air Courtyard
This beautiful, open-air courtyard is the center focus of the four dog neighborhoods. Floor-to-ceiling windows give dogs in the adoptable kennels a 24-hour view of sunshine, birds, rain, and more, while doubling as an enrichment area and space for meet-and-greets with adopters. Individual Adoptable Dog Neighborhood (2)
Each dog neighborhood provides our adoptable dogs a quiet home in which to thrive while they are awaiting adoption. Sign installed in selected dog neighborhood.

Medical Center
This dedicated, multi-functioning workspace is the hub of animal wellness, allowing each animal in MARL’s care to receive basic, specialized, and emergency medical care. Sign installed in medical center.

Exam Room
Located in the medical area near the intake entrance, exam rooms will be located adjacent to animal check-in to allow medical staff to efficiently and thoroughly examine each newly-arriving animal in a low-stress, quiet environment. Sign installed adjacent to exam room in medical area.
Team Break Room
Adjacent to the main lobby, this space is dedicated for staff and volunteers to enjoy a respite from hectic days and come together informally for project coordination. Sign installed in main lobby adjacent to team break room.

The New Resident Dog Room
Located in the medical area, this room will house dogs who are new to the shelter, whether they are on stray hold or just decompressing, while they wait to become available for adoption. Sign installed adjacent to new resident room in isolation areas.
New Resident Cat Room
Located in the medical area, the new resident cat room will be home to newly-arriving cats until they are ready for adoption. Sign installed adjacent to new resident room in isolation area.
